Photowalk in Malá Strana, Prague - February 2026

Our February photowalk began at Malostranská, where we set off to conquer the climb toward Prague Castle. The sky was a classic winter grey and moody, but fortunately, the rain stayed away. While the sun decided to wait until the very next day to finally end the long winter, the flat light was actually perfect for capturing the textures and quiet drama of the historic architecture.

After reaching the top, we took a quick coffee break to warm up before going back down. Descending the Malostranské schody, we framed the red rooftops that make this district so iconic. It didn’t matter that the ‘golden hour’ was missing. The atmosphere was great, and the shots we took felt authentic to the season.

We wrapped up the day at Vojanovy sady, where the peacocks were roaming the grounds as usual, seemingly indifferent to the cold. It was a peaceful, perfectly timed ending to a great walk through the heart of the city.
